Intel is committed to taking virtual reality (VR) mainstream. While gaming is certainly an area where VR technology creates truly amazing experiences, there remains a perception gap that the technology isn’t ready for prime time in other verticals.
At a media event at the New Museum in New York, Intel’s full array of VR offerings will be on display, powering immersive experiences in sports, art, environmental awareness and social sharing. This experiential evening event will bring forward new VR experiences – from the phone to the PC – that demonstrate how VR is not just a game.
