For the 11th consecutive holiday season, Macy's is partnering with Make-A-Wish® for the annual Believe campaign, giving the gift of joy to children with critical illnesses. 6-year old Sophie was surprised as her wish was granted at Macy's Clackamas Town Center as well as her in home. Sophie, who is dealing with soft tissue sarcoma, had a wish to have her playroom turned into a unicorn and sparkle-themed theater room because she loves to watch movies and play video games. She also wanted a unique, fun environment for hosting friends.
Macy's will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish for each letter to Santa dropped off in stores in red Believe letterboxes or submitted online at macys.com/believe, up to $1 million. For National Believe Day, Macy's has pledged an additional $1 per letter, up to an extra $1 million, above the existing $1 million campaign goal.Macy’s has donated more than $112 million to Make-A-Wish since 2003, including more than $17 million through its annual Believe campaign. This funding has helped grant thousands of wishes. The wishes bring unmatched joy and hope to children and families across the country, impacting entire communities across the country.
