Microsoft and partner companies put modern manufacturing solutions on display at Hannover Messe 2017, the world’s biggest industrial fair. The company displayed how the synergy between man and machine, artificial intelligence and machine learning are digitally transforming the manufacturing industry.
The role of robots in modern manufacturing was put on display at the event, with partner exhibits showcasing how through AI and machine learning, collaborative robots and intelligent drones can be complementary to human labour. With data and intelligent insights from machines that can learn processes, employees can use that data to eliminate monotonous tasks, solve problems faster and produce better financial outcomes. The combination of humans and intelligent machines is creating a hybrid workforce that is allowing manufacturing companies to tackle some of their toughest challenges.
